Delete your Meerlet account

In the app

1. Open Meerlet on your phone and sign in.
2. Go to Settings, then Delete account.
3. Type your password, or if you sign in with Google or Apple, confirm when the app asks “Delete your account?”.

On this page, without the app

Enter the email you sign in with. We’ll send it a 6-digit code, and the code deletes the account. This works however you sign in, with a password, Google or Apple.

What is deleted

• Your account: your email, your name, your password and any Google or Apple sign-in linked to it.
• If you created the family: the family, your children’s profiles, their quiz answers and progress, the time they earned, and every quiz made from your pages.
• Your children’s phones stop being managed. Their limits come off, so nobody is left locked out of a phone you can no longer reach.
• If you signed in with Apple, we also tell Apple, which removes Meerlet from your Apple ID.

If you were added to someone else’s family, only your own account is deleted. The family and its children stay with the person who created it.

What we keep

Nothing from your account is kept once it is deleted. Our database backups can still hold a copy for up to 7 days, until they are replaced, and are never used to bring an account back.

A beta waitlist signup on this website is separate from an app account. To leave the waitlist, reply to any of our emails.
